When Russell and I first started working on QOL in January 2018, my voice was still healing from vocal nodules, which I was only diagnosed with in November 2017. I was terrified I was never going to sing again. I ended up writing most of the songs with me rapping at first because I physically could not sing. As my voice continued to heal I recorded different verses singing the melodies; a little bit of rapping ended up staying on the album somehow.

With Russell's help I was able to harness the rollercoaster of emotions I was feeling throughout this past year to complete QOL. This album is my heart, and an honest reflection of my battle with mental illness. Life is worth living and I want every listener to know that they are never alone. My sincere hope is that every single listener can in some way, shape, or form resonate with these songs.

I want to thank my parents and the rest of my family for their love, support, and encouragement.

I want to thank Russell for believing in me. Without you this album wouldn't exist. This is an accomplishment we will always share together and I'm forever grateful for you.

I want to thank Richard, Jelani, and Anny for all of your support. All three of you continue to serve as my main source of inspiration and motivation. I'm gifted to be among such talented individuals.
